Chinese New Year is an important Asian holiday that begins on February 7th and lasts for 15 days. It’s considered an auspicious date, so it’s important to begin the year with a clean home.

The color RED is considered to be very lucky, and it is incorporated in many ways.  If you want to participate in this holiday, you can begin by giving your family, friends and children a red envelope filled with money and something sweet. Wearing new clothes is another common way to celebrate – specifically something red.
